Hello Massimo,
All the best and good health for the new year!
Do you have any new findings on WP43?
Thanks Thomas, the same to you!
No findings, sorry: I used it sparingly, and it now seems on a dead end track. :(

Maybe there will be an answer e.g. from Walter.
Hopefully there should (or could) be an option, to build and post binaries for WP43(with or without s)
without much effort.

Personally, I don't consider WP43 being a dead end. There were pilot units distributed, flashing DM42 stays viable, and also the simulator as well as the documentation keeps being updated. Ok, update frequency decreased a bit. But bug report frequency is low, too. We can only repair what we become aware of...

BTW, dlachieze joined the party on GitLab. And we're looking forward to further capable members of the WP43 project...

Good news indeed.

If I may, I'd also propose considering the Android / iOS / IpadOS platforms.

Easy ! Just need some Android / iOS / IpadOS developers joining the party. Volunteers ? ;)

Does any of the other WP43 Pilot users also have very high battery consumption
on the Pilot units and maybe strange OFFIMG display?
(see viewtopic.php?p=25112#p25112)
I've reported here (viewtopic.php?p=25119#p25119) and here
(viewtopic.php?p=25112#p25112) that the WP43 delivered
in 11/2022 had shown special effects in battery consumption and also in shutdown.

Now I may report that after prolonged excellent communication with Michael from SwissMicros,
these symptoms have been eliminated by replacing the display.
(the exchange took courage and destructive force :-) )

Many thanks to the complete team from SwissMicros and all fighters around the C43 / WP43!

Congratulations, Thomas! :D AFAIK, your specimen seems having been the only extremely battery-hungry WP43. Nevertheless, calculator power consumption is an issue still but looks like "only software" so far.

Hello Walter, thank you for the kind words.
Yes, I think it's safe to assume that this particular hardware is an exception - for me, knowing that the LCD was causative was very helpful.
I am very curious about your measures and results to limit the power hunger of the firmware.
By the way, I have discovered release 0.23.4 (https://gitlab.com/rpncalculators/wp43/-/releases)
- also many thanks!
