I'll sit back patiently now.
Enthusiastic comments are always appreciated!

By the way, even for those people who are unable to get a prototype soon you still have the opportunity to use the simulator. We very much appreciate feedback and especially bug reports. I think we're usually fairly quick at fixing bugs, so if you find something that doesn't work as expected do let us know. (Bug reports can be in a new discussion on these forums, or even better would be on the GitLab page, although you'll need to set up an account for that.)

And for those who appreciate a physical calculator (probably all of us!) you can flash your DM42 to a WP43. Don't worry, you can always get back by flashing the DM42PGM from SwissMicros. The key layout is different, so you might need to print out the layout for a separate piece of paper or apply stickers to the keys.

The vast majority of the functionality is now in place, and although we are still making many improvements all the time, you can expect most things to work.

100 +. There is a dedicated thread provided already.

BTW, there will be a little presentation about the WP43 on Saturday in Allschwil. Just for your (pl.) information if you (pl.) think about attending ...

A BIG THANKYOU to Matthias and Hans Peter for hosting the Allschwil Meeting again!

Personally, I learned a number of new faces and met Jaco and Dani and R(obert)vJM for the first time. Jaco experienced the by far longest journey to reach Switzerland. There were a number of quite interesting talks given by the usual suspects plus some more yesterday and today. Eric and Hans Peter did the recording which will certainly lead to some GB of videos. Copies of the presentations held were given to Matthias who will find a way to make them accessible to all. Alas, nobody of SwissMicros was attending.

Today, some WP43 pilot units could be presented to the participants for a first touch. Of the 17 units received from SM yesterday, two went to Martin, Jaco, and me each, two reduced price units to Sylvain and Robert (for Håkon), one was a gift of Michael to Matthias. Of the eight units remaining, three carry a reduced price tag and are reserved for lpoujoulat, DA74254, and mwthomasjr so far according our waiting queue. One is reserved for the developers still, and four will return to Michael.

This obese symbol on the division key is a concession to the English occupied calculator world. :|
