New Member here as well from SE Mich!

I found about SM from the HP Museum. Over the last few years I have been going through a variety of HPs just enjoying some of the models I never (but should have) got in the past. I've used RPN since the mid 80s - 11c/15c models.

I've been sold on SM via a DM15 and recently a DM42. No regrets.

For the past year a WP34s (Thanks TomC) has been my travel calc and I love the idea of the 43s for build quality and support. So yes, I would buy a beta or production model without hesitation.

(Keep in mind I ordered a DM41X last week which the wife does not know about. When SM finally gives me a "it's shipped" notice, then I can prepare) :)

Great Forum,
Bill

+1 just as I indicated my interest a while ago still.
In the mean time I acquired DM15 and am happy with it.

Walter,
I haven't checked this thread in a while but see that many people are requesting units when available, and you are keeping count of the number.

I had originally expressed interest but I think I was the first or second after your initial cutoff. So I do not know if I'm in your list. If not please +1 for me.

Thanks,

Leo

Thanks, Leo, for reiterating your interest. :D

It wasn't really necessary though, since - as you can see in Egypt - written threads remain for years (at least). 8-)

There's that old story how the inventor of chess wanted to be rewarded by his king: by 1 corn of rice on the first field, 2 corns of rice on the second field, 4 corns of rice on the third field, etc. up to the 64th field. The king agreed happily thinking that's a minor expense. It's a very nice example that men might be challenged by exponentiation.
