I will gladly participate and pay for the privilege of using dedicated hardware (mostly custom keycaps I suppose)

Depends on what you call a key and what a keycap here. I still think we'll have 'custom' keys, i.e. different keys than e.g. a DM42, and a different bezel. Or, to phrase it differently, there shall be a dedicated bezel and dedicated keys for the WP43S (plus a dedicated print on its rear side).

In case of doubt don't hesitate to ask.
WP43 SN00000, 34S, and 31S for obvious reasons; HP-35, 45, ..., 35S, 15CE, DM16L S/N# 00093, DM42β SN:00041

Real keys is what I meant, anyway. Glad to hear that is what is intended. Can't wait.
