 Very nice. Requires a lot of training to read it as fluently as in this video though. Thanks for sharing. :D

I'll say. I had to stop halfway through because it was getting hard to keep up. Maybe I should try again after breakfast.

Great! Loved it.

Let’s use this to make it very relevant to the 43S... I think, try type “Rhabarberbarbarabarbarbarenbartbarbierbierbarbärbel“ into the text input register...

Serious question though, try type in that really long word, complete with the correct letters (ä) and capitalisation into the alpha input in the DM42 or 43* simulators and please give feedback on the user experience. Not many UI related comments have been received on the alpha input, and maybe the more opinions the better. In fact, I cannot remember any.

Stop. No that doesn’t work. Only goes up to one letter more than the barber...

I think comments on practical alpha entry is important though. Without comments they will not know what is perceived outside the dev environment. May try a shorter word or phrase with more variance, i.e. “Masseødelæggelsesvåben”
(Weapons of mass destruction (DK)) or others from the expremely interesting page on pangrams and other interesting phrases or others from your own language.

My point is to type some non-math into your 43 sim or device. 😉

I have a quick question: I have the impression that the WP43S is already running on some user’s DM42 hardware, but I have searched and cannot find where instructions are to install this. Are these instructions readily available? Can some of the people who want to be in the pilot run but are over the 50 unit limit do this? Can the firmware be installed readily on DM42 or DM41X? Since I can’t seem to find any mention of this anywhere, I am thinking this might not be an allowed topic; if so please delete! Thanks :D :D :D

I don't know about the DM41X, but you can run it on the DM42. The WP43S has an entirely different keyboard, but if this bothers you, you could try the WP43C which has a keyboard layout which is compatible with the DM42 (the keys and yellow shifted labels are the same, and you can get on screen help with the blue ones). Or you could print out the layout, maybe create an overlay.

I know at least two users running WP 43S on their DM42. The way to achieve this is quite easy: go to https://gitlab.com/Over_score/wp43s/-/t ... umentation, download the Reference Manual, go to App. F, and proceed as explained there. Enjoy!

I guess you can do this also with a DM41X if you don't own a DM42.
