Because then the newly created 8-level stack would behave the same way as the converted 4-level one, from the get-go. FILL doesn't accomplish this, AFAICS.

PS: Just answering the question. I'm fine with how it works, I'll set my stack size to 8, and never look back... :D
What is the metric tensor in imperial units?

I fullheartedly concur. Usually SSIZE8 is the first command I call until STOCFG and RCLCFG will be coded.

My Maternal Grandfather was from northern Italy. He owned a construction company in New York City so he dealt with many southern Italians people who would do him favors such as eliminate competition. :o
