Well ... let's say then HP Solver capabilities, like the 27S, 19B and 17B have. But then indeed, copyright issues. No idea how RLM got around it; probably reimplemented the logic from scratch. Since that's closed source, that functionality could only be added if a deal could be struck (which would raise price of the calculator).

About HP 17Bii calcs still available; yes, but they lack the I/O, large screen, and the speed that a Swissmicros calculator could provide.
