The natural numbers exclude the negatives. And the integer types in the calculator include negatives.
Strictly speaking the number set would be Z but I also don't want to go there.
Most correct would be LI for long integer referring to the type, but I want to shorten it, not make it longer.

I like [≈I] for the reason noted above, it's a reminder that it is approximating the number with an integer. Self-documenting is good.

Hi Bob, thanks, I hear your point and find that approximation is good, whether a projection or not (out of my field ), but considering the two screenshots that I sent, I now prefer [->I] for the reasons that the arrow intuitively indicates movement where the ≈ does not, in the same way that the arrows used at >R and >P (located on the opposite side of the same row). Also the arrow is in line with the existing longinteger<>shortinteger conversions that I already have in the HOME / UP menu (see below),

Looking at this menu:
- ->I means a conversion/projection/rounding to a long integer
- Then SI<-<- means a double backwards conversion to a short integer, doesn't it?
- And ->->LI means a double conversion to a long integer, doesn't it?
- But I have absolutely no idea what ->LI<->SI shall mean.
