Dani,

Your quick and dirty shifts show the same clarity which amazed me last year when we did the 43C layout.

Good choices dropping >R & >P, xth root of y, >I and E+. Good choice not to include f[g] and g[f].

You may force Massimo to start a branch of the 43C, which is the beauty of open source ;-)

I'm surprised how easy and clear you can create a layout between 29C and 41C, even with the additional cursor keys, which were introduced with the 42S.

The layout still has a few small bugs, but that doesn't bother me, because it will not be implemented. And that's why I didn't think about the most powerful levers, which should be used on f[XEQ] and g[XEQ].

Actually H2X can take it and make an app out of it. For me at least it could displace Free42.

I was already thinking of XEQ: f[XEQ] does automatic XEQ ALPHA.

Wow, this looks like a true masterpiece: well balanced, perfect color choice, lights and shadows casted.
You have my vote, bravo!

I didn't even check the single functions, the first impression is stunning.

This is also my impression, but the work of Inautilus and Jaco. I am the one who throws the 'keys'.

Even the ordering of the operator keys is right! I mean correct... :)

What have I missed!?!? Where did the WP43D come from??

On first pass, it looks awesome! And on 2nd!

Is this another fork that is forthcoming?

I just checked and it's not April 1st...

This is not an official fork. This is more a thought experiment.

I like this layout myself, I could well imagine it as a simulator. In any case I would install such an app.

Who knows what will become of this idea. But no, no firm plans yet.

Thanks.

Though of course a highly religious topic, I'd say the experiment is successful.
