I don’t even want to try icons myself.
Me neither, but we could always look at icon collections for suitable candidates?
Remembering that those icons should be easy to reproduce in print and on the web...

And it needs to be integrated into the emulator fonts as one or more custom characters. Therefore small.

Not particularly keen. On the other hand the icon on [f] EXIT is really nice.

I agree, and I'd be surprised if any equally good icons turn up for the other keys. But I do love a good surprise! :-)

The HOME menu:

I like that the soft keys are never idle, but does the HOME menu as envisioned imply that the lower part of the screen is always busy showing their shifted options?

As done now, with HOME being a ‘normal’ menu without any special extra powers, HOME can be removed by pressing EXIT, as with any other menu. So the function keys are indeed idle if this is done.

However, the HOME key has a button, and I would probably call it up and let it sit there all the time. If it goes away, you can always call it back by pressing HOME or triple shifting (if that option is enabled).

If it works well, I can consider an option to enable automation to have it always as a base menu. But I’m nit there yet. Just mentioning.

Somehow, the posting I made a half hour ago ... lost its way.
Will just send through the work this time.

Hi,

Your platform is beautiful, but the file size is not correct.

It must be 526 x 980 pixels
It is 497 x 915 pixels.

The result is it does not fit.

Not to worry. I can set the dimensions pixel size, whatever) to whatthey need to be. It is no concern at all. However, losing an email in transit ... somehow ... well that may be. Will wait to see what happens before sending the other stuff. :?
