Here you go ... in ALL 2. Do you want it in Cartesian notation? Enjoy:

Everything still subject to change without notice, of course.

I take it the spaces separating groups of 3 digits after the decimal point can be removed in the formatting? That would grate on me no end if not!

Yes, you can. OTOH, our East Asian friends can set them to separate groups of 4 digits.

Just for curiosity, how do you read 16-digit numbers without spaces??

I would use either a space or a comma to separate groups of 3 digits before the decimal but not after.

It may help on either side (cf. ISO 80000). A narrow space is to be used, a comma must not. Just FYI.

I find a narrow space helpful both sides of the decimal. Aids in rapidly identifying unit prefixes

While I tend to be a severe traditionalist, I really like this "delimit thousands with narrow space" option... keeps those long strings of digits from getting mixed in my head.
Looks great!

How about the Indian system: a comma separating the thousands, then every two digits, e.g.:

10,00,00,00,00,000 = 1 lakh crore = 1,000,000,000,000 = 1 trillion = 10^12

Know that, been there. Lakh and crore are mentioned in the manual for some years but will not be on display of the 43S.
