(Edit 2020-04-09: Meanwhile, 59% of our function set is implemented. Thanks to Martin and JohnBoydon.)

(Edit 2020-04-10: Peace at the edge of complex plane. And all contents of FIN are implemented (except TVM).)

Triggered by a discussion elsewhere: Should we call the programming language of the 43S "FOCAL"? This name was introduced for the keystroke programming language of the HP-41C, so it certainly applies to the one of the HP-42S, so ...

What do you think?

Yes, you're one of those why FOCAL couldn't be used officially by HP at those times (they found out too late) ;)

Regards from another old DEC programmer, though in ASSEMBLER.

IIRC, FOCAL stands for Forty One CAlculator Language so for the 43S this translates to FTCAL or alternatively F3CAL 8-)

I didn't want to say anything else, but at F3CAL I see the same link Tesla made with the Model 3(, S3XY).

So please, dump that term.

I was an old programmer for IBM RPGII :x
For me the keystroke programming language of a 43S system should be named KPL43.
