A better tradition would be to upload the source for the manual.
It's hard to upload human brains. ;)

We're still waiting for the 34S manual.......

Human brains have had over half a decade to adjust to it.

AFAIK & IIRC, I offered the 34S manual for a honest return to a forum you know. Though the conditions set by said forum were definitly unbalanced, so there will be no return for the time being, and in consequence there will be ...

It's all a give and take. Sorry.

Following our tradition, I uploaded a Christmas edition of the draft manuals today reflecting our latest modifications agreed on. Note the software update will take some time as mentioned earlier.
Our SW department made a big step forward. The current SW is featuring now:
  1. Real results with 34 digits (no more 16-digit reals).
  2. Complex results with 34 digits for each part.
  3. All the recent keyboard changes implemented (incl. a primary x^2 - a primary SQRT(x) went into EXP).
  4. Extended precision in RBR.
You find the new WP43S.exe program in the repository of our project: https://gitlab.com/Over_score/wp43s/tre ... 20binaries

The new named system flags are not implemented yet and thus, STATUS is still the old one. We ask you for a little patience in this matter.

Enjoy testing!

EDIT: Added point 4.

Now SHOW is up and working. Some cosmetics may be requested but the functionality is there.

How do we enter a longint once you are in shorting last base mode?

The OM p132 is not clear on this.

RESET 7#8 ENTER, produces 7 base 8 in X and Y.
4 ENTER, produces 4 base 8 in X and Y.
I cannot find a way out, except to type 1. [<-] [<-]

Is this the only way?

Not really a bug, but just a suggestion,

when entering a HEX number, the GAP setting shows the decimal gap of 3 whereas while entering HEX, I would expect it to change to 2. It does change to 2 once entered - see below.

No, it isn't. Please see footnote 116 on p. 132 of the OM. ;)

How shall the poor calculator know in advance that you really want to enter a HEX number? You may enter # at the end and specify a different base... Interpretation starts with input closed. 8-)

Disagree. It knows your are in #16, i.e. last base on screen. It needs no interpretation. It knows.
