Then you must indicate in your manual that this figure is the responsibility of SwissMicros!
Mais oui, monsieur! Please read p. 2 though.
Non Monsieur puisque vous l'avez modifiée !
There's one indication on p. 2 (as before) and another on on p. 209 (new) now. Make assurance double sure.

Our next release will allow you computing also the uncertainties of linear regression parameters for linear, exponential, power, and logarithmic fits. We're currently working on elliptic integrals and our second Bessel function. So the next release will be some days away still. Thanks for your patience.

Release 0.20.5 is here https://gitlab.com/Over_score/wp43s/-/releases. As promised, it sports the elliptic sine, cosine, amplitude, etc. as well as elliptic integrals of first, second, and third kind, and Jacobi's Zeta function (special thanks to Mihail!). It features also the Bessel function of second kind now (thanks to Mihail again). It allows you computing also the uncertainties of linear regression parameters for linear, exponential, power, and logarithmic fits (Galileo would have loved this; thanks to Jaco!). Included in the release package is everything you may want to try, test, and check the 43S on your computer or your DM42. Please look into the recent manuals for more information in these matters.
Enjoy!

And if you discover anything suboptimal, please report. There are certainly some issues - who finds one will get 24 test points. Even if your attempt to install the 43S in whatever environment should fail, this information is appreciated - we will help you out.

Please, be a tiny bit more specific: What did you do to get this message? (Since I don't get it so far.) TIA

May be removing the file backup.bin solves the issue.

That worked perfectly. Thanks!

I did not encounter any problems with the tested functions.

There are still some broken hyperlinks in the RefMan:

p136 The requested URL was not found on this server.
p141 ( https://de.w…) not available
p149 SORRY, PAGE NOT FOUND
p202 89 Download … and 90 Download …
p208 The requested URL was not found on this server.
p211 404 Error

I still see a difference between the bezel_AIM and the Backside for g+Enter. STATUS in one and FILL in the other ???
The image of the backside is taken from the RefMan, the other from the last "res/artwork/bezel_AIM.png".

Merci, Pierre, for sharing your observations. I'll check later today.

EDIT: Here we go:
  • P. 136: Thanks. That link has moved. I'll check where to find it now.
  • P. 141: That's my fault in abbreviating two addresses. Will be correct in next update.
  • P. 149: That was the address I got from Michael years ago - I'm pretty sure it once worked. Seems that link has moved or vanished. I'll check.
  • P. 202: This link works. It beams you to the directory where you find the two files. Download them and proceed as written. Or what do I miss?
  • P. 208 and 211: Those links have moved. I'll check where they went to. (Did I mention I love people reconstructing their website that way?)
  • FILL: The bezel_AIM was repaired a few days ago - the correct UI will be in next release of the simulator.
Monitoring hyperlinks is like herding cats.

EDIT2: 136, 141, 149, 208, and 211 are corrected. Will be available with next update of the ReM.

Thank you for the corrections to the broken links.
P202 why not use the address "https://literature.hpcalc.org/community" for the three links?

https://literature.hpcalc.org/community/hp42s-om-en.pdf
https://literature.hpcalc.org/community/hp16c-oh-en.pdf
these links work (at least for the moment)

I use "bing" on "safari" and the links to www.hp41.net don't work ???
Maybe a mandatory registration is needed!
