Thanks Walter.
1 and 2 are good.
3. Sorry for the confusion. What I meant was this. Could the shift keys be just that for purity and not be assigned other functions. Having suggested this, It may have been discussed and decided upon already. If so no worries.

Re: 43S News
@Walter
I'm fine with swapping INTS and BITS.
@BK42
Actually, the issue with the shifted functions on the shift keys has been (briefly) discussed very recently.
I'd prefer the shift keys not having secondary functions too, but I don't have a good idea where to put SNAP and USER either (which should, as I understand it, be universally available, which rules out most other keys).

Re: 43S News
@BK42: If you find a nice new home for SNAP and USER, withstanding the storms of reassignments in various calculator modes, you'll be rewarded with 95 design points. Else, alas, you'll get none...

Re: 43S News
Yep, the moving of the files you mentioned did the trick! I should read this forum more carefully! Greg
The WP43S team recommends to use gtk3-runtime from here.
I can't justify what the reason is. Sometimes it just works according to instructions, sometimes you have to copy (not move) the two dlls libpng16-16.dll and zlib1.dll from 'c:\Program Files\GTK3-Runtime Win64\bin\' to where 'wp43s.exe' is located. And I have seen cases of Windows installations where even this trick does not work.

Re: 43S News
Coming soon... with the next release... : vectors and matrices in real and complex domain (thanks to Mihail!), a new keyboard layout, and more.

Re: 43S News
Here you go: Release 0.20.0 is here https://gitlab.com/Over_score/wp43s/-/releases and offers you full vector and matrix support in real and complex domains. In the release package is everything you may want to try, test, and check the 43S on your computer or your DM42. Please look into the manuals to find more news. Enjoy!
And if you discover anything weird, please report.
EDIT: There are certainly some issues - who finds one will get 25 test points. Even if your attempt to install the 43S in whatever environment should fail, this information is appreciated - we will help you out.

Re: 43S News
How the current simulator state could look on your screen:
. .
Just FYI. Enjoy!
P.S.: This will work on your reflashed DM42 or DM41X as well, just watch the keyboard, please.
