I just mounted the DMCP volume for the first time after upgrading my Mac to macOS Ventura, to install the C43 pgm (internal update). Unfortunately, macOS reports the volume as having no capacity and no free space! This also after I used the DMCP/system menu to erase and check the FAT disk.
The good news is that I was able to install without further problems using the detour of using my ChromeBook.
Any thoughts on why this could happen? Any other users who (don't) have problems?

Re: Mounting DMCP volume on macOS Ventura (no capacity)
After mounting again on macOS, zero capacity reported; I moved some OFFIMG files around (from a subfolder to the OFFIMG) and then the Finder recognised the volume correctly again... Very strange.

I am facing the same issue (zero capacity) with several USB sticks and SD cards after updating to Ventura. This was already reported in the beta phase of Ventura many months ago

Re: Mounting DMCP volume on macOS Ventura (no capacity)
I have a Mac running Ventura so I might be able to help but I'm confused as to what you are trying to do. I've never had to "mount the DMCP image" and I don't know what that means.
I do mount the FAT drive built into the DM42 when the calc is placed into "USB disk mode" and this works fine for me - I see the folders HELP, OFFIMG and SCREENS and Get Info reports 6.3MB of capacity with only 83KB used.

Re: Mounting DMCP volume on macOS Ventura (no capacity)
I just upgraded to Ventura yesterday. I am able to connect to my DM42 (Now C43) without any issues. I have also tried several USB flash drives of varying ages and capacities. Again, no problems. I am running a very elderly Retina 4K, 21.5-inch, 2017 iMac. Maybe the problem is only on the ARM processor Macs?

After one of the recent minor macOS updates, the problem evaporated
