Sorry Walter, I've actively participated in a few beta-tests in my past life, dutily reporting issues found and the like.Walter wrote: ↑Sun May 09, 2021 7:02 pmScusa, signore Massimo, we do not raid the close community and take prisoners for beta-testing but offer our software to the community and invite them (see the link above). So if you wait for being caught and enrolled (a nice word ) for beta-testing you may wait longer. But if you simply dare to test it will be more fun for you most probably.akaTB wrote: ↑Sun May 09, 2021 6:11 pmEntschuldigen Sie, Herr Walter, I am not hopeless, but was I enrolled in some beta testing stage?
What do you need? A computer, laptop, or the like (I assume you've got one) and optionally a DM42 or DM41X (I assume you've got one, too) you may flash (hmmh?). Then please follow the instructions. If/when there should be any ambiguities don't hesitate to ask - you know us, we typically react quite fast since 2011 at least.
But, in today's world, where nothing ever seems to come to a final version, I am quite fed up of playing the guinea pig.
TBH I tried to install your software under Windows, it required extra libraries, installed gtk3, still could not be found... -> reverted my system to previous state.
I am more than happy to contribute by buying at least one unit once available, but no time for bug hunting.
And, hey, I am aware that this is hobby project: don't want to urge anybody. But, as for THE BOOK, I can't refrain from teasing, once in a while.
