My Windows 10 host computer does not recognize the DM41X FAT disk as an external drive when I connect the DM41X to the host using a USB cable. The DM41X display DOES show the USB connection symbol (where the battery symbol usually is), but the Windows host has absolutely no response to the connection.
This is the first time I’ve tried connecting to the host since I received the new DM41X a couple of weeks ago. The DM41X seems to be working perfectly otherwise. What am I missing?

Re: Host does not recognize DM41X FAT disk
You must first activate the disk.
Do as follows:
Connect the USB-cable
Enter "Setup"
Press "File"
Press "Activate USB Disk"
Now the disk is accessible

That worked perfectly. Thank you!

Note that on the DM41X you can activate the USB disk with just two key presses: CST 5
DM42: 00425 - DM41X: β00066 - WP43: 00042
Re: Host does not recognize DM41X FAT disk
I recently bought a DM41X. Great calculator - but could not connect USB. I tried three different cables - none worked. My last cable (used for my bluetooth speaker) worked fine. Lesson learned - get a good cable!
