Issues after replacing battery

Post by giubeca »

Hello, this is my new trouble.
I’ve just replaced the battery and my DM42 doesn’t work anymore; if I attach the USB cable it switches on, only with battery no. Any suggestions?
Thanks for your help.

May not be an issue, but is the battery in the correct orientation?

Do you have a way to test the voltage of the battery?

May be a bad battery nevertheless. Please see the thread about checking coin cells (under Discuss).

A CR2032 battery cell should measure at least 3.3 volts when new.
