I had recently order a DM42 but unfortunately, right out of the box, it refuses to turn on. What I've done so far: changed the battery just in case, pressed and held every combination of on and reset possible, also checked that the screen is plugged in inside. No good. Discouragingly, two emails to support, and neither have received responses either.

i can't help you with the hardware problem you have.
I also contact swissmicro twice by email concerning another problem, but without any response.

Is the swissmicro still existing?
