Any way to change display contrast?

Etc: If a calculator has equals, why buy one unless it's the cheapest?

Not on the DM42 (or DM41X). This said, the LCD is already pretty good in that respect. I've not yet felt the urge to change it.

Even a decade or so ago I would have agreed that it's pretty good as it comes but now I'd say you probably haven't yet experienced any AMD that's not embedded in the innards of a computer...
