Hello,
I started to log the battery voltage, roughly once a week. Without using the calculator at all. So, switching it ON once a week.
Is this a a normal discharging curve?
Software is 3.18

Re: DM42 battery life time
Looks normal to me given that it drops relatively quickly from "new" but slows down after that. Also, "Rainbow" looks like a cheap Chinese brand to me. The only significant hit on Google is on Ali Baba's website, which screams "cheap Chinese junk that'll last 5 minutes if you're lucky".
See how it goes with that battery, but be prepared for the unit to fail once the battery goes below about 2.5V/2.6V because high internal resistance will kick in and reduce the voltage when you draw power from it.

There are only 10 kinds of people in the world: those who understand binary and those who do not.

Thanks! Indeed my selection of the battery was not a best one But I will keep measurement for a while, then will switch to something reliable
