Excellent work however, as Walter stated, we need the tabs. Something like the original plastic blanks.

Cheers

I've heard from Michael today that there are no tolerances applying to the dimensions of the overlays. That's an information in contradiction to my industrial experience of some decades but he continues claiming it. :? Well, I inspected the six slots on my DM42 Beta using a thickness gauge and found them being 0.5 mm high. Please crosscheck - maybe we can convince him based on some statistics. 8-)

I'm using 0.35mm thick cardboard.
I removed the 2 tabs in the middle because it's a little tricky to get the tabs into the little holes: the keys are too close to the edge.

Here’s a version with tabs. I cut one of these from card, and it’s a very tight fit into the tab slots.

I dont get it. Why doesnt Swiss Micros have professional Overlays made and sell them? Seems like a major oversight to provide for Overlays and leave it up to users to figure out a way to make overlays.

Does anyone know of a company, who can take a user drawing and just crank out plastic Overlays? Some of us just don't have the time or patience to cut our own overlays
