Do we have a solution to the yellow wearing off the key yet?

I've got two DM42's and a DM41X that I am concerned about. On my most used 42 the yellow is going fast.

Scrape it all off (it's easy. A fingernail will do it) and paint it.

I painted it with cold gold enamel and it seems to last efficiently.

It also allows me to return to traditional color of the yellow key.

Can you share what Brand and Color of Yellow paint you used? Is it available online? Amazon?

I was thinking of doing the yellow tape fix but paint might be better

My yellow electric tape repair is working so far and it was a daily user before COVID stopped travel.

I used Humbrol Enamel #69.
