This is a maintenance update for the DM42 calculator.
This update addresses problems with the interpretation of keys pressed quickly in succession such that they "overlap" (i.e. the second key is pressed before the first one is released).
There is no update to the Free42 part of the firmware in this release, only DMCP.
The method for updating your DM42 is covered
in the manual .
The latest firmware binaries are available
here .

So far so good! Two-key rollover response feels much improved compared to 3.14.
But I have another small bug report: you forgot to give this minor firmware update version number 3.142.

The DM42 program did not change, the fix was in DMCP, which did change from 3.14 to 3.15.

Are you trying to say that this update is irrational?

On the contrary, it is unacceptably rational.

Surely it should be 3.141, so the next minor update can append a 9?
This reminds me of the version numbering of Knuth's TeX and Metafont programs. TeX is at version 3.14159265 and Metafont is at version 2.7182818.

Come on - surely that's a hyperbole...
DM42 #40 running C43 | DM41X #50 | various HP models
The earth is flat. It just appears round because it is massive and curves spacetime.

Let’s stop this hyperbole as it is becoming recursive!
