I'm still waiting on my DM42 and have been thinking about a rugged case for it. Something a bit more protective than the typical slip cover. I managed to find this online and ended up ordering one.

Looking at the dimensions of the calculators that it is supposed to fit I think it should work. Length and width match up perfectly. The DM42 is 5mm thinner though. I'll let everyone know how it works when I get it and the DM42. Someone may have already tried it, if so, please chime in. Or, if you can suggest any alternatives that I should consider it would be greatly appreciated. I'm also going to get some of those screen protectors (from another thread) as well.
Thanks,
Randy

Re: Protective case
AFAIK, there is gorilla glass covering the LCD of the DM42 already. Just FYI.

Re: Protective case
Certainly a second sheet of gorilla glass will not reduce protection. I can't tell you, however, how much it will increase... (my DM42 travels as it was delivered in my back pack within its slip cover or something alike - no problems experienced so far).

Re: Protective case
I was going to post some pictures, but either I can't figure out how or I'm not able. Wanted to say that the DM42 is incredible and the case fits surprisingly well. It is a bit close on the lowest row of keys but other than that I'm happy with it.
