### G4_G3_G2 Program

G2 is simply wrong. Calculates just one of the roots correctly. Try 1,1,-1 for example

### Re: G4_G3_G2 Program

I don't have my DM42 at hand, but assuming the G4_G3_G2 program is the same as the one on my web site, this is what I get when I try your example:

Code: Select all

                XEQ "G2"
A=                     1
1    RUN
B=                     1
1    RUN
C=                    -1
-1    RUN
PRX
0.61803398875    ***
RUN
PRX
-1.61803398875    ***

### Re: G4_G3_G2 Program

Uuups, yes you are right. Have to press R/S one more time. I thought it will show the 2 roots simultaniously on the stack in Y and X.
As there is not much documentation of program(s) I have to lookup the code next time...
Sorry for the bandwith

No problem!

It would be better if there were a bit of documentation with all the programs in my collection, but I just post them the way I receive them, and many come with no instructions at all, unfortunately.

I'm testing that program. I also hope that the author would like to give some documentation or help and examples for G4_G3_G2, thank you.
