DMCP 3.19

Is it recommended to update to DMCP 3.19 and load the DM42 prg file separately or is there going to be a combined bin file?

For a given version of the DM42 program, you can (should) just run it with the version it was released with.
A given version of DM42 typically will run OK with newer versions of DMCP, however this is not tested and not guaranteed to work.
When updated versions of DM42 are released, they will include the latest available version of DMCP at that time, and again should be used with the co-released version of DMCP.

Where is 3.19? On the website they just have 3.18 released in March.

That link no longer works. But I managed to get 3.20, so thanks for pointing me in the right direction.

Thanks, it worked a few days ago. Addresses change quickly these days. Hope they'll settle soon.
