I guess I should just be patient considering the circumstances.
I have never sent a package to Europe before and had no time frame on which to base my expectations.
I have my DM41X to play with in the mean time! :)

I didn't send anything to SwissMicro as the OP did. I was on the waiting list to get a DM42. I got word that it was available on 18 April and I ordered it immediately. Payment was accepted and they shipped it the same day according to the email they sent.

So now it is three weeks later and the DM42 has not arrived. I'm not worried yet, especially in the face of the covid-19 fiasco, but when do you think I should be worried that the package they sent could be lost?

I live in Maryland in the United States. Can any others here who have experience on how long the package takes to get to the U.S. chime in?

TIA!
I also ordered a new DM42 on April 18. I am still waiting for it to arrive (Colorado, USA). Pre-Covid shipments from SwissMicros generally would arrive within 7-10 calendar days.

Well what do you know: it arrived today! Just a little over three weeks to the eastern USA. Thanks SwissMicro.

Glad you finally got it :)

Obviously, shipments from China to Europe are more efficient than from the US.
I've received today a small parcel sent one month ago from China, but I'm still waiting for the MoHPC flash drive, ordered 7 weeks ago. I suspect the problem comes from USPS…

Since we are in CVH (Corona Virus Hell) almost all classes of USPS mail except Priority have become much slower, due to the daily equipment sanitizing being done at all postal hubs. And now (8 weeks into Hell) even the Priority mail is slower than normal too.

True for sure, but you tasked USPS with it. So you have to bear the consequences ...

Yes! And now that the USPS is a wholly owned subsidiary of Amazon.com, mere mortals may never get anything through.
