My booksized parcel 📦 from California arrived here in Germany luckily finally just before Pentecost.
Sent with USPS it took 2½ months.
→ One has to be patient these days ...

✈️
A nearly empty 787 must have been a bit eerie indeed.
Nevertheless this plane is one of the few running that provide higher oxygen level, higher air pressure (~2000m)
& does not use bleed air from the engines, but fresh air via two separate inlets upfront directly,
for the air conditioning system of the cabin.

Cheerio !

I have been flying the 787 around for the last month on strictly cargo operations. Cargo in the belly but still with the pax seats installed.

Just did a Vancouver Seoul Shanghai Vancouver. No pax, just freight.

Had to cook my own meal :shock: and make my own coffee :twisted:

Of course, didn’t have to deal with flight attendants or pax :!:

Pax = passengers :roll:

Yes.
It took from March 14 until March 28 to go from Prescott, AZ to Los Angeles, CA - USPS
It then appears to have languished in LA from March 28 until May 7. - Held up by USPS or US Customs???
It then quickly made its way to Switzerland. - It cleared Swiss Customs in only one day.

My repaired DM42 has returned.
It looks like international shipping is getting back to normal. :)
