Like buying directly from somebody you'd like to keep in business (not unlike Swiss Micros) instead of from an international trade giant (not unlike Amazon) who takes a rather substantial premium for a rather insubstantial contribution?

Ace Tools either stocks the Buckaroo MPPX or can get them pretty readily, from all appearances.

Not for a DM42, but given that it is the same size as a Pioneer (right?), this iPhone 7/8 Plus pouch would be a good fit. I've used this (size 4XL) for a few years now, and it is keeping up very well.

Hi Everyone,
Sorry late arrival at this thread, I've been looking on and off for a dm42 case since it arrived (and its beginning to look a bit dusty now!).
I am a vegan (now how is that for nerd points?
) so leather cases are out for me. I'd love to print the case designed by TwoWeims but don't have access to a 3d printer. Anyone got any ideas for me?
(BTW many thanks to everyone in the forum, would never have bought the dm42 without all your advice on this site. Its so good to get back to RPN...)

Your subject and some comments discuss a CASE for the DM42, while other comments are about a calculator STAND (3D printing, etc.); which item, case or stand, are you asking about?

Quick, easy, & cheap solution for dust protection I came up with:
The case for the hp10bII fits the DM42 rather well, even though it is 4.5mm shorter than the official case. These cases can be found readily and cheaply. I trimmed down a clear sheet protector and gift-wrapped my DM42, then from the 10bII case I trimmed out two rectangles that are the perfect size for the keyboard and screen.
Additionally, for all-round carrying purposes, I use a spare leather HP45 case. My total time: 45 minutes, total cost: $6.

My recently purchased DM42 came with a fake leather case that seems well made. It's nice and slim compared to the bulky zipper case that came with my HP35s.
