As far as I can see, the User Manual is still the same since 2017-07-27.
I ask for an update, covering also the following topics (which may or may not have been treated on this forum already, but it's annoying having to search the entire forum for basic information everytime one needs it). Please explain the topics step by step comprehensively like to a 4-year-old. Not everyone does operate his calculator everyday, and people tend to forget things (please bear with us!). The topics listed below follow arbitrary order.
How to get a program (stored on a computer as a .raw file) into the DM42.
How to get a program (stored in the DM42) transfered into a computer - e.g. for convenient editing.
How to get a program (stored in a text file) translated into a .raw file.
How to get a .raw file translated in readable text (well, I know this now thanks to grsbanks - but it shall be explained in the Manual).
Is there any "officially acknowledged" text file format for programs? If true, which? What's the respective recommended editor? Under which OS?
Please include some sample programs for typical applications (don't have to be new, maybe sufficient you collect them at one place for easy access).
...
There were more wishes mentioned earlier on this forum. Please search and you will experience yourself why a good manual will pay quickly.

As much as it pains me to have to agree with Walter, I have to give these suggestions a +1

While discussing this with Michael and David the other day, I agreed to put together a manual in PDF form (so, printable if you want to print it) that goes through the differences between the DM42 and the HP-42S.
Prior knowledge of how to use the HP-42S is therefore assumed but I'll also point people to online resources for that machine.
There are only 10 kinds of people in the world: those who understand binary and those who do not.
DM41X beta: SN00018.
DM41X: SN00496.

and a whole bunch of the original HP's,

Thanks to both of you (with and without pain )!
Any idea when this manual will be available/accessible?
