These look great! What are you using to create the images and adjust dithering?

Two different tools: (1) Thumbs Plus. While viewing an image, press D to change its bit Depth, then select Bi-level (1 bit), then play with the Dither method and the Threshold. (2) PaintShop Pro. While viewing an image, press Ctrl-Shift-1 to decrease color depth to 2 colors, then play with the many options there. There is no single "best method", because different images get better results with different methods. It's fun to try them all!
