Images MUST be in Windows-NT .bmp format at a resolution of 400x240 pixels and 1-bit colour depth or they will not be displayed by the DM42. Images that do not meet this requirement will be removed from the forum :)

Actually, they need to be 1 bpp.

Experimenting with adjustments to the brightness and contrast before dithering usually helps.

Yes offcourse, you're right. 1 bpp / 2 colors ;-)
Btw - I found HyperDither for Windows, but a bit uphill to get it running, so I let it be and used the online resource.
