Third-Party Firmware for SwissMicros devices

This Forum is about 3rd party firmware builds from various individuals and teams creating alternate versions of calculator applications or entirely new calculator products.
Note that these are not directly supported by SwissMicros for technical issues, bug reports and fixes, operational assistance, etc.; please contact the author(s) for such support, but of course writing posts about such issues/questions and discussion here is welcome.
SwissMicros expects 3rd party firmware will be designed and built according to the DMCP interface guidelines, however cannot guarantee things like battery life, key behavior, etc. when such applications are in use.
If you are aware of a thread in the other Forums which you think belong here, please advise and they will be moved, not all such threads are obvious from their title.

  • Third Party DM42 firmware builds
    Third parties may release their own firmware builds and announce them in this forum.

    Please note that bugs found in these firmware releases should be posted in this same forum. SwissMicros provides no support for these firmware releases so in the event of a problem, please contact the author of the firmware in question.

    When publishing your own build of the DM42 firmware, we require that you include a notice in your "About" screen informing the user that this version of the firmware is neither provided by nor supported by SwissMicros.
