For me the current layout is very natural, the prefixes are ordered from the smallest on the left to the biggest on the right.
I feel like Pyjam here.
·m should be aligned with ·k, ·μ with ·M, …

Re: Assign the f shift or g shift function to a MyMenu location?

For Mac and Linux, you need to install the development environment and compile the program yourself. For Windows, it's simpler: the executable program is supplied with each version. For Mac, my knowledge is somewhere between non-existent and very limited! Jaymos is best placed to help with installat...

If I haven't missed something, the simulator only works on Windows.
No, it works with the 3 main OS's: Mac, Windows and Linux.

Re: [C47] - The anomaly of sub-optimal fractions

Re: C47 bezel installation

I've received my official overlay sample, so I decided to permanently convert one of my DM42s into a C47. I removed the Swissmicros bezel using a metal needle and 4 or 5 wooden toothpicks. It was a bit tricky because the SM bezel is really well glued. Then I removed the remaining glue from the calcu...

The direction the C47 team is going in terms of developing an open and freely available manual seems much more aligned with both the norms of the calculator community and with people's expectations.

Do you remember the Wumpus game? - I found it fascinating and programmed it in my 702P as a teen. Does anyone?
I remember the Wumpus game very well! I programmed it on my Sharp PC1500 with an 8K module in 1982... Damn, it was 41 years ago.
It was one of the 1st programs I wrote for my PC1500.

Re: DM42, DM32 or C43?

You can also try to force the portrait mode by using a command line parameter wp43.exe --portrait snippet of code: calcLandscape = false; calcAutoLandscapePortrait = true; for(int arg=1; arg<argc; arg++) { if(strcmp(argv[arg], "--landscape") == 0) { calcLandscape = true; calcAutoLandscapeP...
