Re: Distinguishing between shift keys

The current HELP file for the DM32 (as of this writing) is v2.60 (2023-06-02) which I uploaded to my personal server just for you: https://holyjoe.net/DM32/dm32help.html When Swiss Micros updates their online help file, I'll remove the above from my server. Meanwhile, just copy the above to your DM...

Re: Slight lag on the rolldown button

I'm not experiencing this problem on my DM32 unit. Perhaps it's a hardware problem with your particular keyboard. Try this: clear the stack, then put 88888888 in X. Now press x<>y very rapidly exactly 3 times. If the 88888888 swaps position from where it started (as it should) then try again with s...

Re: Distinguishing between shift keys

Hi rechlin, this has already been addressed in this second version of the help file: https://technical.swissmicros.com/dm32/fat/HELP/dm32help.html Download it and overwrite the same file of the internal FAT disk in folder \HELP . It's the same file v0.06 2023-04-24 that's currently loaded on the FA...

Appendix B: Memory discrepancy.

Section 20.1. States that "The DM32 offers 439K of work memory" and Section 20.3. again shows 439K in the display when the MEM key is pressed, however, when I press the MEM key on my DM32 it shows 442K.

Re: How fast is DM32?

Hello, I tested it (both calculators running on battery) with a program with a loop going from 1 to 7200, taking the sin of the loop variable and e^x of the result and adding up the result. Finally, the result is shown. The program was for DM42: 01 LBL "TEST" 02 0 03 STO 00 04 STO 01 05 L...

Section 11.1.1 example missing keystrokes

In the example, you must precede every letter entry with [RCL] or you will just get the unshifted value of that key. So for example, to enter the letter R, you must press [RCL] [R], otherwise you will enter [8] instead.

How do I Save or Load Programs ?

There is a PROGRAMS folder on the FAT disk, but no apparent way to access it. In the Setup File menu there is a Load State and Save State, but no Load Program or Save Program. There is also no mention of loading or saving programs in the current DM32 User Manual. Is this a future feature not yet imp...
