Re: FAST/SLOW flag/function
@redglyph thank you for your explainations and taking time to do it... I somewhat missed Bob's explanations... I still have an interrogation... the TURBO0 and TURBO50 called to boost/slow the DM41X are in the ROM (ROM2 I believe)... are NOT developped by HP but added (for HP41CL I believe)... so Swi...

Re: FAST/SLOW flag/function
Just reporting an observation then. So, the system knows the mode... why not expose that? Making this into a very uncomfortable/unwelcome suggestion. The 41X uses the original 41 ROM, so the OS, functions and applications (which includes any application ROMs) have no visibility into any information...

Re: Collection of wishes for future SwissMicros products - discussion following Bob Prosperi's HHC 2022 talk
Hello all, I think that the problem with any BASIC calculator that will have low to medium sales is the "QWERTY QWERTZ AZERTY" hardware possibilities for the keyboard... These devices generally need only one secondary function per key, so there is room to leave those keys blank and put th...

Re: May 2021 Speculations
@bob... I think that we are all speeking of Open source (and me restricting it to NoDerivatives)... ... for DM32 😜 1) I exclude all the emulated Calculators = DM41X and Voyagers series for obvious reasons 2) as for DM42 "derivative" possibilities... it is not a Swissmicros call, but a Thom...

Re: May 2021 Speculations
To my knowledge... - Open source is working (Free42/Dm42 and WPxx calculators are an example) especially once the first released is finished by the original authors - but Open source can lead also to uncontrollable "derivations" with a risk on the "image" (reputation?) of the ori...

1) Will there be a batch of DM32 beta testers (I want to contribute)... or is it already ongoing?
2) can we contribute in providing a comprehensive help_file/documentation for the DM32 (don't waist your precious time on this topic)?

Re: Bulhmann decompression calculator (ZH16B)
Hello, I found some slight differences between the results found on DM41X vs DM42. For example... a dive of 20min at 60m using 18/30 mix. DM42 finds a first stop at 30m (same as MutiDeco Android progam). DM41X finds a first stop at 33m (more conservative than DM42 and MultiDeco Android program). I ...

Re: May 2021 Speculations
We can see the DMCP SETUP called SET on shift ON... plus of course the extra upper FN row of 6 keys.

Re: May 2021 Speculations
Can anyone tell me what the Function Preview button is Bob is talking about at 25:47 in his HHC video? It is (I suppose) when you hit a key and keep it pushed, you get the key assignation function in clear text somewhere on the screen... and if you keep pushing, you get NULL (and the instruction is...
