I'd love a DM42L because I'd prefer the form factor. To my knowledge, there's been no official confirmation or denial of its future. Michael has been very covert about it, but it has been discussed here.

Should be possible to 3D print a plastic CR2032 and add two electrodes to it, then power it from an external supply though?
