Pardon my ignorance - where is the ALPHA key?

Geoff:
Awwww....tnx for the special attention!!!
I'm not sure when/if this was announced, but I stumbled into it! Makes the code much simpler/less cumbersome/does not 'waste' any memories!

Virtual Variables do NOT require indirect access.
Perhaps I've missed details of an update, but I can access GrMod and RefLCD WITHOUT using indirection. I first did this accidentally, but then verified it! The current .pdf file [3.14]still shows indirection is required, yet the help file [2018-08-31] on the DM42 does not mention the indirection req...

Alarm Functions in DM42 request
I would like to formally request that the alarm functionality(ies) be added to the DM42.
This functionality was in the 41, and this would make the DM42 a more worthy successor to the 41!
Thank you,
TomC
ps: Thanks again for the DM42 - a great machine!

? DM42 as Alarm Clock ?
Hello:
Apologies if this has been covered already.
Can the DM42 be used as an alarm clock - ie waking me at 530am every weekday morning?
(I use my HP48 quite regularly for this and was hoping the DM42 is able to !)
TIA

Re: PRLCD / PRP Issues (?) DM42v3.11
I have noticed that the justification (right vs left) is dependent of the state the printer was left in. I have successive printouts on the same 'tape' whereby the last pgm printout is properly left justified. I suspect there is an issue with the state the print buffer in the 82240 is left after a P...

PRLCD / PRP Issues (?) DM42v3.11
PRLCD seems to have two issues: 1. Does not print the entire LCD. I'm using it from the print menu while in Calc mode. 2. It does not print the bottow line of the LCD until the next print command. It also does not 'do a CR' - the next print command starts at the end of the end of the PRLCD output. P...

Re: Updating from 3.3 to 3.10
Good News Everyone!!!
I de-installed the driver and re-installed.
Although it reported 'Other error' at the end of the install, the DM now shows in File Manager!!!
Hallelujah!
