Re: Inspiring the next generation of RPN users
I agree that it is sometimes, even if rare, useful to have need for more than 4 stack levels, and resources in the 43S plentiful, so it makes sense to have this option, though it does slightly complicate the 43S ecosystem as when one shares a program it must be clearly stated that 8-level stack mode...

Re: 43S News
Imagine a point being used for separation, really, not only between variables but also between real constants like 12.345 . 6.789. You'd probably ask 'why couldn't those designers choose another separator? ', won't you? Transfer task: why no comma... Ah, ok, thanks Walter. I had not considered nume...

Re: Shipments and Tracking
Honestly, that's a shame. Delivery was quicker and more reliable under the old terms. All for getting a tracking number which doesn't accelerate shipment at all. If you need support for a simple European solution, relying on the established strenghts of our postal systems, please call me. Let the U...

Re: 43S News
It's perfect, I can't wait. A lot of work for Mihail! Another thing, it is very annoying in SOLVER to have to quit a message with BACKSPACE followed by EXIT. I think EXIT should be enough. And why use ":" as a variable separator and not ";" or simply "," as in many sof...

Re: 43S News
@Bob Prosperi: y^x is covered by ^ . xth root of y is covered by ^(1/x) . ABS is in already (see above) . COMB and PERM can be included although I can't imagine an equation where these appear. e^x-1 and ln1+x can be included, and so can MOD . Also the 27S has a RANdom number generator in its set of...

Re: 43S News
How about Y^X, Xth root of Y, ABS, COMB, PERM, E^(X-1), LN1+X, MOD, and RAN? Note these Fn names are taken from a 42S, so correct 43S names may differ a bit. Also, I've no idea how RAN might fit into some equation solving scenario, or how it may affect convergence, but it seems it should be included.

Re: DM42 / Free42 state file compatibility
Do all keyboards have the € symbol? Can't say, as here (in the EU in general) it is normal for all keyboard varieties to have it. I also wouldn't know of any other character that is not on the 42 yet on all keyboards. No, US keyboards don't include the € symbol, that would be too convenient... But ...

Re: DM42 / Free42 state file compatibility
Thanks Bob! If it worked a year ago, I'd assume it still works now, since nothing significant has changed about Free42 state file handling since then. When you did try, did you try it in both directions? Yes, using the latest of both at the time, and had no problems. I was using relatively vanilla ...
