On July 8th, there was a DMCP update posted for version 3.14, but the DM42 was not updated and remains at version 3.13...Should we just update the DMCP now, or should we wait for a DM42 update to come later??? Also, there is no notification of the DMCP 3.14 update in the forum new update notificatio...

So now there have ben 2 updates to Free42 that effected the DM42 in some way, and the 2nd one came out 18 days ago...Will support for the DM42 continue by updating it or is support for the DM42 finished?...the DM42 is too good to not keep it up to date.

The free42 SOLVE function clearly has a bug that was outlined in detail here by the maker of Free42...HP cared about a bug in the original HP-35 and fixed it, too bad we can not have that same care with the DM42...Thomas Okken in this thread said how the SOLVE bug was bothering him for a while so he...

So apparently the bugs and problems that have been outlined here that were fixed in Free42 are not warranted to also be fixed in the DM42...I highly do not agree...The issues with Solve that are outlined here that were fixed...It was important for the Free42 maker to solve the issues with SOLVE as h...

An up to dat DM42 is a better DM42

The DM42 is the best Scientific Calculator ever made...The original HP 42S is the 2nd best...

It will be great if the Update has a "combo version", like it has had the last 2 updates, makes it much easier overall.

Well, even if minor, the changes need to go into a new DM42 ROM...If they were needed and done for Free42 they also need to be done for the DM42...What is good enough for Free42 is good enough for action regarding the DM42 also...I trust updates will be made even given their being minor...

If so, that would be great....As long as the DM42 has any corrections related to Free42 that would carry forward to the DM42, if they are not any that is good.

I will be waiting by my cyber-mailbox for the new ROMs
