Re: Stand alone Encoder/Decoder

Walter! I refrained from suggesting Geoff how to use those 15 hours, and you... ;) Beware! These 15 hours have to be dedicated entirely for his employer. If he used this time to work on his [hidden word], which would be a commercial activity, he could be fired immediately. What a pity having just (...

Good catch, confirmed. Amazing that this has never been noticed until now...
That's definitely a DM42 bug. Because [TOP.FCN] is replaced by [SETUP] these TOP.FCN are no longer available when in HEX Mode. Needs to be rectified.

Re: February run of DM-42

I made Ray Bradbury late for a speech at Palomar College in San Marcos CA many moons ago IIRC, Ray Bradbury was already an author some 50 years ago. So it can't be true you made him. ;)  Sure he did. Mr. Bradbury is dead. He's now referred to as the late Ray Bradbury. Guess who made him...

There will be subfolders. No problem for David the magician!
Looks like you had this in the pipeline already.

Re: Displaying Strings on the Screen

The limit of programs we can read and sort in one folder is 85. Given the capacity of the flash memory, a maximum of 85 entries seems pretty limiting. But an endless scrolling through even more than 85 looks cumbersome too. I think subfolders at least in the Programme folder would be nice for the u...

Re: My dream DM42 display layout

Doing the same, using only Latin loan-words instead of Germanic, was much, much more difficult! I love it to be completely off topic. I served for a couple of years in Belgium in an international organisation which officially used two approved languages, English and French. While my command of Engl...

Re: DM42 Firmware V3.2 available

Thanks for the next flawless update. Question again on the HELP: The arrows are described to jump to the next link, but they don't do that always. Example: from the "Contents" jump to the "Flags" then press [down]. It will simply show the next page(s) instead of the next link whi...
