Re: HPLOT

After a couple of days thinking about this and re-reading the manual's explanation of AGRAPH, I think there's a simple and easy solution to the PLOT program's thin plot lines. Instead of using PIXEL to try to draw more pixels, a big pixel 3x3 pixels in size can be drawn by AGRAPH with three pi chara...

I haven't tried anything related to this key since I haven't read any solution to this type of problem. there's a screw right behi...

How wonderful coincidence that HP choose this number long before
a hitchhiker was travelling through the galaxy... ;)

HPLOT

here's a modified version of DPLOT from the original HP42s manual but with three changes: 1)input 0,2 or 3 as GrMod to choose the display resolution. 2)a vertical axis is always displayed at the 'x=0' of the plot window. (thanks to Keith Dalby for help) 3)if GrMod is not zero, extra pixels are plott...

Re: First impressions of the official DM42

I'm posting this here as I think these observations are beyond the theme of beta discussion HINT! ......... There is no obvious difference in the software, except for some more nice options in the setup. And there is the earlier announced help system, GREAT..... The Help System: Available also at <...

Re: DM42 release date please...

This machine is fascinating. However 200 Euro is a hefty price tag for some people like me that lives on the poor side of Europe. I will have to start putting money aside for this. comparing the price to other new calculators with similar capabilities: It's a little more expensive or roughly the sa...
