I’m surprised that no one here is talking about this.

Re: Troubled waters

Maybe it's time to step back for a minute and let SwissMicros respond. Note that this is a two person company that is pushing out hardware and software updates at a furious rate. Let's not assume the worst just yet. My dealings with SwissMicros have proven them to be nothing less than trustworthy, ...

@Günter - While in AB, be sure to visit Banff National Park, Lake Louise and Jasper. All stunningly beautiful. I'm jealous...
Those places are the reason for us to go there.

Cheers, Geoff. (HHC2018)
Prior to HHC2018 Torben and I will visit parts of the National Parks in BC and AB from either Seattle, Vancouver or Calgary. Not decided yet. But if we set out from YVR or YYC there is a good chance to be pax of AC, so watch out :)

Re: Stand alone Encoder/Decoder

Question: When the captain dates a flight attendant for [censored], Is that work or fun, suggestions? Is he paid for this fun? If so, it's more like work (the kind of work I'd come out of retirement for!) No work, it's really fun. If it was work, then tho co pilot (or first officer) had to do it. G...

Re: Stand alone Encoder/Decoder

Walter! I refrained from suggesting Geoff how to use those 15 hours, and you... ;) Beware! These 15 hours have to be dedicated entirely for his employer. If he used this time to work on his [hidden word], which would be a commercial activity, he could be fired immediately. What a pity having just (...

Good catch, confirmed. Amazing that this has never been noticed until now...
That's definitely a DM42 bug. Because [TOP.FCN] is replaced by [SETUP] these TOP.FCN are no longer available when in HEX Mode. Needs to be rectified.

Yes. And I think Walter was riffing on a classic joke version of that adage, "selber essen macht fett." I learned that one from my parents.

Re: February run of DM-42

I made Ray Bradbury late for a speech at Palomar College in San Marcos CA many moons ago IIRC, Ray Bradbury was already an author some 50 years ago. So it can't be true you made him. ;)  Sure he did. Mr. Bradbury is dead. He's now referred to as the late Ray Bradbury. Guess who made him...
