Re: Persistent custom menu release 3.19.5

I have not checked the forum for a while. The f3 pcm toggle is great, as it now allows for easy debugging of programs with single step and then going back to pcm mode. Thank-you!

Re: 43S Alternative key layout --> WP43C

Found the FIX bug, which was also evident in the SIG mode. Fixed it in the development branch. Will upload a sim in a few days. Thanx . Clipboard60.png This is great. Pocket calculators came out in the 1970s. Why, I wonder, has it taken until now for (one) calculator to appear that displays signifi...

Re: 43S Alternative key layout --> WP43C

There seems to be a bug with the display format in the WP43C simulator. At first I thought the problem was with the constants library, but then I saw that it affects any very big or very small number. For example Avogadro's number, with SCI₃ or ENG₃, it displays correctly. SCI3-2021-04-03 14-57-39.p...

It seems that the 43S font is not installed on your system.

Try that. It is in the repository.
Sorted. Thank-you

Re: 43S Alternative key layout --> WP43C

I successfully compile/run the C43 simulator on linux. As a Linux user, I will appreciate a bit of direction on how you did this. After cloning the git repository, I simply went into the directory and did a "make". I later on learned I had to do "make rebuild" command instead. H...

Re: 43S Alternative key layout --> WP43C

I have worked out how to compile the simulator, but the link is not working:
This fix already is in the updated "latest" branch dated 24 March, here. However, in the daily or latest updates there is not a Windows simulator pre-built. If you are set up, you can compile it yourself.

Re: 43S Alternative key layout --> WP43C

Thanks, that's all I needed. Much better than running a windows simulator through windows on virtualbox.

Re: 43S Alternative key layout --> WP43C

Yes there is a USER layout. But I prefer labelled key. Really do not like unlabelled things. So I changed the CPX menu any way because it is an excellent suggestion. That one still works no prob. I agree with leaving sigma + where it is, since the key is labelled and I'm used to finding it there, a...

Re: 43S Alternative key layout --> WP43C

Hi Jaymos Thanks for the quick & comprehensive reply. I will wait for the new binaries- I am mostly a Linux person but have never bothered to go much past bash scripting. Although I have often enough gone into a directory and done ./configure, make, make install, if that's about all I need to do...
