Aha! I can see 'GAMES 1A' listed under CATALOG 2. I guess that's progress.

Where are 'modules' documented?
I am new to this 'module' idea. There is a tiny bit about them in the DM41X Quick Reference guide, but I still don't understand how they are supposed to work. I assume each module is a suite of programs, but how do I get access to them? I have managed to add the GAMES module into 'Page 8 bank1' but ...

DM41X arrived in Australia!
So exciting!
I love the keyboard already. Excellent haptic feedback combined with that snappy 'click' sound. The bolder font than the DM42 makes the keys easier to read too.
Now, time to upload all my HP41CV programs! Fun fun fun .... B-)

Re: DM41X encoder/decoder ?
The 42S is compatible with the 41C at the user code level for the standard 41 instruction set so the DM42 encoder/decoder should work for most, if not all, of your HP41CV programs. The differences are described in the HP-42S User's Manual, section 11 "Using HP-41 programs". Otherwise ther...

DM41X encoder/decoder ?
I just ordered my DM41X - I can't wait. Is there a DM41X encoder/decoder similar to the DM42 encoder/decoder that ( used to !? ) exist? I have a bunch of HP41CV programs that I've actually keyed into text files as a kind of backup. It'd be great if I could encode these and upload them into the DM41X.

DM42 encoder
Where did the DM42 encoder/decoder web page go?
https://www.swissmicros.com/dm42/decoder gives a 404!
Has it been replaced by the python program on github?

Re: Cannot write to DM42 via USB
Eureka! Solved it myself. I took a backup of *everything* on the DM42 to my laptop then went item the System>Enter System Menu>Format FAT Disk menu and selected "Format FAT Disk". Once I activated the USB Disk I found I could write to it. So just copied everything back. All is good. Weird!

Cannot write to DM42 via USB
Suddenly I can no longer copy files from my laptop to the DM42 via the USB cable.
From a terminal window I get this error:
cp: cannot create regular file '/media/steve/DM42/PROGRAMS/astro.raw': Read-only file system
Why is it suddenly READ ONLY ? Can I fix it?
