Re: Keyboard debouncing

Until you know what will follow, simply leave the numeric input open ... I'm just baffled by using EXIT for the reasons presented here. I don't see the point. None of the 'advantages' presented here are of benefit to me at all. Maybe other folk find using EXIT in these ways helpful. If so, g...

Another use for "Exit" - it reformats the number you've just typed into the current display format without lifting the stack afterwards.
Still don't quite see the point of that

- 2538 "exit"

- 43 "exit"

I think I must just be old-school but reaching for the calculator is the last stage in my thinking. Wouldn't dream of plugging numbers in without a clear vision of what I'm doing with them.

Re: Keyboard debouncing

Maybe I'm doing something wrong and I'm the only one to have this problem with "enter", but for this use at least "exit" is changing my life right know  so to save you pressing extra unnecessary buttons, you press extra unnecessary buttons? Nope, I cannot connect the dots...

You can also press EXIT after entering a number, and it will only change the X register without disabling automatic stack lift.
I can't think of a situation where that would be useful.

Re: UPDATE: DMCP-3.10 / DM42-3.10

I've not had a crash yet. Jumped several versions to this one. Haven't done anything too intensive yet but all seems well so far. Happy to run a stability-checking benchmark if requested

Re: Battery life

Sorry what was a current at OFF stage? 80 uA? That's right. 'twas draining far more charge while turned off than on. Michael asked me to send my PCB back to him to investigate and sent me a replacement. The replacement does not have this issue at all. The PCB was replaced at the start of March this...

Re: Battery life

Michael exchanged my beta calculator for a production model (the PCB part) and the battery drain issue vanished. Maybe connect an ammeter in series with a regulated supply and see what the current does when the calculator is swiched off? Sounds like you've the same issue I had. I am curious what the...

Re: Python to RPN converter

More importantly, is there a decent implementation of HP-like RPN for the numworks machine yet?
