:) Now now, I'm only sharing my thoughts and opinions

Re: What would be the ultimate calculator in 2017?

Okay, functionality: either all left-aligned or all right-aligned, this mix (left aligned x stack during numerical entry, everything else right aligned) is driving me bonkers :( You could see it as indicator that input is open or closed. Re: DM-15, reset fault

I don't think so, but I took the battery out to investigate further and since putting the battery back in I've not been able to reproduce the faulty behaviour. I don't know whether it was a software or a hardware issue, but it is resolved now anyway.

Thank you for your help.

On top of the battery holder there must be a foam pad, otherwise the positive pole makes contact with the housing, which is connected to the negative pole of the battery. Please check.
Hello Michael,

Yes, there is a foam pad on the battery holder

Video of the problem here: https://youtu.be/PChVVhJLD4M

Happens with the ENTER key too when in the housing.

Re: DM-15, reset fault

Took the back off, thinking maybe it was too tight and might be accidentally triggering the reset button, but the same behaviour happens intermittently with \Sigma+ and . even without the back on, carefully holding at the sides.

Ideas?
