Right, but SwissMicros don't have the source code, just the ROM (I think)

Ah yes, but what was the average temperature? Humidity? Where in the lunar cycle are we? What was the background radiation during this period? These are all important to know as well.

I wonder how many discovered SwissMicros by mistake on their search for an accurate timepiece, and accidentally bought a DM42 thinking it was such a timepiece, then proceeded to moan about the accuracy of their calculator in keeping time. I wonder.

Are we talking a few seconds different per month? A few minutes? A few hours? A few days?

It's a calculator, not a precision time piece. A little lost time is not an issue.
